The links to our Reading Activity Sheets below show you
how to use C.A.R. with the free Imagination Library books
BFBMT sends to your child. Just select a book, review the
Reading Activity Sheet, and start having fun reading with
your child!
C.A.R was developed by Washington Learning Systems as a
simple way to have a conversation with your child about a
book. Research shows that using this method expands the
child's language skills, and also teaches an appropriate way
to have a conversation.
BFBMT's simple, fun, inexpensive activities expand your
experiences with your child, and through these interactions,
your child's literacy and school readiness skills are increased
while strengthening family bonds. So click on a book cover,
print a Reading Activity Sheet, pick up an Imagination
Library book, put your child on your lap, and start reading!
